Break the straight path to your best row with walls and fences, station a defense pet like the Ice Serpent or Bee nearby, harvest obvious valuables before night, and bank profit you cannot defend. Full plan in the night defense guide.

Plant a large field of cheap multi-harvest crops (Bamboo is the standard), keep it under sprinklers, and leave the game running. Weather that fires while you are away mutates part of the field. A Unicorn or Golden Dragonfly roughly doubles your hit rate.

Crops slowly lose value while they sit un-harvested and un-watered — you might get only ~70% of a field's value if you leave it too long. A fresh mutation resets decay, so harvest mutated crops promptly and sell fresh. The calculator has a decay toggle.
