The end-goal income pet. Doubling Rainbow chance stacks directly into your highest sales, which is why experienced players grind toward a Unicorn above almost anything else.

Unicorn in depth

The Unicorn is the end-goal income pet in Grow a Garden 2. Its passive doubles your Rainbow mutation chance, and because Rainbow is the strongest evergreen (non-event) multiplier, that boost stacks directly into your biggest routine sales. Every experienced player's mutation build eventually runs through a Unicorn.

It is rare — roughly a 0.3% hatch from the Common Egg, though the Epic Egg's 30% Unicorn rate is by far the fastest documented route if you can earn one. Because it multiplies the value of your best crops rather than adding a flat bonus, the Unicorn only gets stronger as your garden improves, which is why it holds its trade value so well.

Unicorn is a Mythic income pet. Its passive: Doubles Rainbow mutation chance.

Obtain it from Common Egg 0.3% / Epic Egg 30%. Pet abilities scale with the variant you hatch — a Big variant doubles the effect and a Mega triples it.
