OUR DATA METHODOLOGY.
Every number on GAG2 Calculator is community-sourced reference data, not an official figure. Here is exactly where it comes from, how we check it, and how we handle the numbers we are not sure about.
GAG2 Calculator is an independent player resource for the Roblox game Grow a Garden 2. We are not affiliated with the game's developers or Roblox, and we do not have access to the game's source code. That means we treat every value — crop base values, mutation multipliers, pet trade values, seed appearance odds — as a community-verified estimate, and we say so on every page it appears.

Update timelines and new-content details from established Roblox outlets (Beebom, PCGamesN, Nerdschalk, allthings.how and others) and official in-game patch notes.
Player reports
Trade values and demand signals reflect what the community actually pays — discussions, trade boards and player feedback — because trade value is set by players, not the game.
HOW WE COMPILE IT
The process.
Cross-check
A figure needs agreement across more than one source before it goes in. Where sources conflict, we prefer the one closest to the current game version.
Flag disputes
When a number is contested — a code's validity, an exact multiplier — we mark it Disputed rather than pretending it is settled.
Show our math
The calculator uses one transparent formula — base value × weight² × mutation × boosts — so you can see exactly how a result is produced, not just the number.
Leave gaps honest
Where no verified figure exists (a brand-new pet's trade value, an un-datamined seed price), we show a rarity band or "TBA" instead of inventing a number.
FRESHNESS
How often we update.
Grow a Garden 2 ships content fast — sometimes several patches in a week. Our dataset was last reviewed in August 2026 and currently tracks 41 crops, 23 pets and 12 mutations. When a major update lands we add it to the patch timeline first, then work new items into the databases as datamined values become available. A value you see today can change after the next update — always confirm anything important in game.
GAG2 ≠ GAG1
Two different games.
Grow a Garden 2 is a separate game from the original Grow a Garden. Values, seed prices, mutation names and redemption codes are not interchangeable between them — a code or value from the first game will not work here. Every figure on this site is specific to Grow a Garden 2 (Roblox game id 97598239454123). This is the single most common source of confusion online, and we keep the two strictly separate.
SPOT AN ERROR?
Corrections.
If a number looks wrong, it might be — the game changes and community data lags. We would rather fix it than defend it. Send corrections through the contact page with a source where you can, and we will update the data. Accuracy over ego.
