Bloodlit
Overview
The classic Blood Moon mutation. A high-risk, high-reward event — the sky turns red, thieves get bold, and a Bloodlit crop is a huge sale if you can defend it.
Bloodlit is a Event mutation worth a ×65 multiplier on a crop's weight-scaled value. In GAG2 a crop only ever holds one mutation, so Bloodlit either is or is not on the card — it never combines with another multiplier.
How to get it
Source: Blood Moon night event, which triggers during the Blood Moon weather event. Chance: Event roll.
- Stay online during Blood Moon and harvest while it is active — the mutation rolls at harvest.
- Have your highest-base, heaviest crop ready to harvest the moment the weather hits.
- Event weather is rarer than daily weather, so protect the result before a thief takes it.
What it's worth
Example on a 5 kg Moon Bloom: a normal crop sells for about 225K, while a Bloodlit one sells for roughly 14.63M — a 65× jump. Put your own crop and weight into the calculator to see exact numbers.
Bloodlit in depth
Bloodlit sits just above Ignited at ×65, the classic Blood Moon mutation and one of the highest multipliers in the game. It rolls during the Blood Moon night event, and the flavour matches the risk: the sky turns red, thieves grow bolder, and the crop you are trying to protect becomes a walking target. The reward is proportionate, since a defended Bloodlit crop at high weight is an enormous sale, among the best you can bank outside the Eclipse mutations.
This is the mutation where defence is not optional. Because it is a night event with heightened stealing, line up your best multi-harvest, high-base crop in advance, keep it inside walls with a defence pet like an Ice Serpent or Black Dragon nearby, and harvest and sell the instant the roll lands. Do not gamble it on an open plot. Single-harvest crops waste the ×65 to dampening, so reserve the Blood Moon for your premium blooms, and use the calculator to decide whether a given crop is worth the exposure.
