AUCTION STAND UPDATE
Grow a Garden 2 Auction Stand Update, released Jun 27, 2026. Here is everything that changed — 2 documented updates — plus how to plan around it with the GAG2 Calculator.
What changed
The Auction Stand Update (June 27, 2026) is a small patch with an outsized effect on the economy: it added the Auction Stand NPC, giving GAG2 its first structured player-to-player trading. Before this, moving items between players was informal; after it, crops and pets had a public venue where prices could actually form. Every value list and trade comparison on this site ultimately matters because of the market this update created — knowing a crop's base value and a pet's reference value is what stops you overpaying at the stand.
The other addition was Hypno Bloom, a Super-rarity crop with a 9,500 base value — third-highest in the game behind Mushroom (13,000) and Eclipse Bloom (12,400) — at a 150,000,000 Sheckle seed price. Unlike the event-locked Eclipse Bloom, Hypno Bloom comes from the Seed Shop's ultra-rare rotation, making it the most attainable of the top-tier blooms for a patient (and rich) player. It is multi-harvest, so once grown and protected it keeps paying out. The play pattern this pairing suggests is deliberate: use the auction to convert surplus into Sheckles, then sink the pile into a Hypno Bloom that compounds. And before you accept any trade at the stand, sanity-check it against the trade checker — fresh markets misprice things.
