Owl in depth

The Owl is the only Uncommon pet, which makes it a genuine oddity in the roster. Its passive adds +12.5% night view distance and, more usefully, alerts you when a rare-or-better pet spawns nearby — a real edge if you hunt wild pets during night play.

It is not an income or defense pet, so it will not directly grow or protect your garden. But for players who actively chase wild spawns, the rare-spawn alert can be the difference between catching a Monkey or Bear and missing it entirely.

Owl is a Uncommon utility pet. Its passive: +12.5% night view distance; alerts when a rare+ pet spawns.

Obtain it from Wild spawn ~7% / Common Egg. Pet abilities scale with the variant you hatch — a Big variant doubles the effect and a Mega triples it.
