GROW A GARDEN 2 LAUNCH
Grow a Garden 2 Grow a Garden 2 Launch, released Jun 12, 2026. Here is everything that changed — 3 documented updates — plus how to plan around it with the GAG2 Calculator.
What changed
Grow a Garden 2 launched on June 12, 2026 as a standalone sequel — not an update to the original Grow a Garden, but a separate Roblox experience with its own economy, its own codes and its own item pool. Values and codes from the first game do not carry over, which is the single most common source of confusion for returning players.
The headline new mechanic is night-time stealing: once the sun sets, players can raid crops from other gardens, which reframes the whole game around a grow-versus-defend tension the original never had. The launch also reset the Sheckle economy and rebalanced seed costs, setting the baseline that every later update has built on.
