Venus Flytrap is a Mythic, multi-harvest crop obtained from Seed Shop. Its base sell value at 1 kg is 3,000 Sheckles — and because value scales with weight squared, growing it heavier is the single biggest lever on your profit.

Venus Flytrap is a rare crop that doubles as garden defense: it snaps at players trying to steal from your plot. With a 3,000 base value and a documented ~50 kg weight cap it is a respectable Mythic earner, but its real job is buying you time during a raid.

Place it on the approach lanes to your most valuable row so raiders have to walk past its jaws. It is not a hard lock — a determined thief can still get through — so layer it with fences and a defense pet. As a crop it grows multi-harvest, so it earns while it guards.

How to grow it well

• Buy the seed from seed shop.
• Use higher-tier sprinklers to raise size luck — heavier crops are worth far more thanks to the weight-squared scaling.
• Being multi-harvest, it keeps producing, so it earns back a big mutation many times over.
• It caps around 50 kg, so past that point add crops or a higher mutation rather than chasing more weight.
• Chase a high Rainbow or event mutation on it — see the full mutation list for what each multiplier is worth.
• Protect it before night — other players can steal crops from unguarded gardens.
