Dragon Fruit is a Legendary and a reasonable step up from starter crops at a 150 base value. At 120,000 Sheckles the seed is cheap enough to buy in quantity fairly early, making it a natural first taste of the Legendary tier once you have outgrown Rare and Epic fruit.

It is multi-harvest, so it benefits fully from mutations — a good roll keeps paying across every regrowth. Grow it under a sprinkler for weight and use it to fill out a plot while you build toward a real income crop. It is a bridge rather than a keeper; retire it as heavier earners come into range.
